SKU: 822310
Light and mildly stimulating, green tea is a healthy beverage. “Tea” can actually be used to mean black or green tea—which both come from the leaves of the same plant, Camellia sinensis, but are processed differently. This green tea is hand plucked, steamed, rolled and dried.

Mellow, yet refreshing. Light and mildly stimulating, green tea is a healthy beverage. “Tea” can actually be used to mean black or green tea—which both come from the leaves of the same plant, Camellia sinensis, but are processed differently. This green tea is hand plucked, steamed, rolled and dried. Green tea has been drunk for many thousands of years as a healthy beverage. Refreshing and mildly stimulating, with a low caffeine content, we love green tea as an afternoon pick-me-up, as well as for its beneficial properties.

Mildly tannic, with pleasant lemony notes.

Directions:

Pour 240 mL freshly boiled water over 1 tea bag and steep, covered, for 10 minutes. Gently squeeze tea bag.

We love this green tea blend as a refreshing pick-me-up and for its mildly tannic taste, with pleasant lemony notes.

Green tea has been enjoyed for thousands of years as a healthy beverage. Both green and black tea come from leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant, but are processed differently. This green tea is hand plucked, withered, pan fired, and dried.

Some of our favorite high quality green tea is grown in the Nilgiri (“Blue”) Mountains in India, a range known for lush forests and valleys. Your purchase of this organic and Fairtrade Certified green tea ensures that it is grown without chemical pesticides and fertilizers, that the farmers receive financial support for their community’s empowerment, and that they have fair labor standards. Thus every leaf picked contributes to the enhanced livelihood of these farmers and their families.

Ingredients:

Organic green tea leaf (Camellia sinensis)*, organic West Indian lemongrass leaf (Cymbopogon citratus), organic lemon myrtle leaf (Backhousia citriodora). *Organic green tea leaf: traded in compliance with Fairtrade Standards, total 55%.
