Turpentine essential oil is used to temporarily relieve joint and muscle pain related to backache, strains, bruises, sprains and arthritis pain.

Turpentine essential oil is used to temporarily relieve joint and muscle pain related to backache, strains, bruises, sprains and arthritis pain.

Directions:

Topical (Adults): Mix 20 to 25 drops in 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) of vegetable oil; apply locally 3 times a day.

Warning:

FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY. DO NOT INHALE. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Do not apply to injured or damaged skin. In case of accidental ingestion or accidental overdose, contact an Antipoison Center immediately. Avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes. If pregnant or nursing or taking anticoagulants, consult a health care practitioner prior to use. Do not use in conjunction with extreme heat such as generated by an electric heating pad; this may lead to excessive irritation or even burning of the skin. If symptoms persist or worsen after 7 days of use or if symptoms return after a few days, discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner. Reactions known to have occurred include a feeling of irritation or burning of the skin; in which case, discontinue use.
