German chamomile is a tiny annual that grows mostly in temperate climates. It can also be found growing wild. The essential oil, obtained by steam distillation of its flowers, is blue in colour. Chamomile – German essential oil is used in aromatherapy for the symptomatic relief of acne and boils.

Directions:

Topical (Adults): Mix 1 to 2 drops in 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) of vegetable oil; apply to the affected area 3 times a day.

May cause allergic reaction (e.g. skin rashes, irritation, dermatitis); in which case, discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner. If nausea, dizziness, headache or allergic reactions occur, discontinue use. Do not use on inflamed skin or if suffering from dermatitis. Avoid exposing treated area to sunlight. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms worsen or persist.
