| Your Security |

Buywell uses a secure order system (SSL) to
safeguard your credit card details by encrypting
them before they are transmitted across the Internet.
On almost all pages, you will see the authentication logo issued
to Buywell by Comodo.com, usually below the left-column menu.
If you hover your mouse pointer over the authentication logo
a certificate will be displayed, direct from Comodo's site, confirming Buywell's
identify. If you click the logo, a window
will appear - again, direct from Comodo's site - in which Buywell's SSL certificate details are displayed. This is
your assurance that your credit card details will be handled securely when you are
asked to enter them in Buywell's order form.
You can tell when you have reached Buywell's
secure server by looking at the address in
your browser's address line near the top of the screen, and its
status line, near the bottom of the screen.
The address will start with "https://"
rather than the usual "http://", the "s" indicating secure,
and a special icon appears on the status line. On Netscape this is a
locked padlock
in the lower left-hand corner, which at other times displays an unlocked
padlock
and on Microsoft Internet Explorer a padlock
in the centre or just right of centre. Some older versions of
these browsers may display different icons.
Depending on whether your browser has been set up to do so,
you may be advised that you are about to be taken to a secure server prior to
the address line change mentioned earlier.
The move to the secure server
will happen when you click the "Proceed to Checkout" button on the
Shopping Cart page and the entry screen
appears on which you are asked to enter your name, address and credit card
details.
The credit card details you enter are encrypted before they are saved on the
secure server, so that even if a hacker were able to break in and gain access,
the encrypted data would be meaningless to them.
This is further assurance that your credit card details will be safeguarded.
Sites that have been broken into and had valid credit
card information stolen have not been storing such details encrypted.
PRIVACY: Will my personal details be disclosed to anyone?

Buywell is concerned about your privacy and will not devulge
