Alongside the likes of Anna Russell and Dudley Moore, the Cambridge Buskers are amongst the most renowned British classical comedy acts of all time. Michael Copley and Dag Ingram met at Cambridge University and started off by trying to raise the train fare home from Blackfriars station by busking. Their hilarious takes (on woodwinds and accordion) of the 1812 Overture and Ride of the Valkyries are unforgettable. This is the first release of their complete Deustche Grammophon recordings in one set.
