As part of Decca's commemorations of the tenth anniversary of the death of Sir Georg Solti, the company presents this well-received, stylish 1991 Royal Opera production. Verdi's dark and brooding opera was staged by Elijah Moshinsky and premiered with Dame Kiri Te Kanawa and Sir Georg Solti. The film is directed by Brian Large and this is the first time the performance has been available on DVD.
