Levine conducts Gotterdammerung at Bayreuth - a first-time release on any format.

This is Alfred Kirchner's only filmed opera production in Bayreuth: Wagner's Gotterdammerung from 1997 under the baton of James Levine. This production features an all-star cast led by Deborah Polaski as Brunnhilde, Wolfgang Schmidt as Siegfried and Falk Struckmann as Gunther.
