Rudolf Serkin's famous partnership with Claudio Abbado in the 1980s resulted in some marvellous recordings of classical, magisterial Mozart. Not a complete cycle, the 7-CD set offers an excellent selection of the most famous Mozart concertos, and is brought together now, offered at budget price for the first time.

His integrity and musicianship were among the wonders of 20th-century re-creative artistry.
