From a feature judge on Channel Seven's hit series Dancing With the Stars, comes the debut album by the Boy from Oz's Todd McKenney. Known for his roles in Strictly Ballroom, Singin' in the Rain, and Cabaret, this is the first album from seasoned performer Todd McKenney. Featuring the much-loved songs Fly Away, Tenterfield Saddler and Just a Gigolo, this album is full of razzle-dazzle. Todd has said of this album:

'After years of thinking of doing an album I can't believe it is finally here.

'The main reason I recorded Just A Gigolo is because my musical director and producer Max Lambert never let me wriggle out of it and heaven knows I tried. I've always thought of myself as purely a live performer but Max Lambert and Lesley Shaw's confidence in me to record something worth listening to is what finally pushed me into the studio... kicking and screaming I might add! Now that the project is complete, I can't thank them enough, as I am very happy with it. So you won guys!

'I am surprised and thrilled at the laid back nature of Just A Gigolo. For years I resisted singing ballads as I felt very exposed vocally. But with Max's guidance and immense taste in everything he touches I let him slowly guide me into a very rewarding world of emotional music. I love him for that.

'The recording process, as with everything Max and I do was filled with laughter and it is this fact that makes me proud to send this album out into the world. It was a very funny and light-hearted experience. You'll get the picture as you listen to the title song 'Just A Gigolo' as my dear friend Maggie Kirkpatrick joins me on this track. When she arrived at the studio we had no idea of what she would be doing on the album and just started playing around and the result is hilarious and I can't thank her enough for agreeing to do it.

'Finally, thank you to Jim Blackfoot for being so talented and patient as I stumbled my way through this process in his very friendly studio day after day while recording this.

'The reason for my song choices is simple. I like them and I hope you do too.'
