On this special double CD of live recordings, performances by the Australian Chamber Orchestra include Schubert's extraordinary String Quintet in C, Haydn's London Symphony and Sibelius's Kuolema. Another highlight is the ACO's director, violinist Richard Tognetti playing the first movement of Ligeti's phenomenal Violin Concerto.

This double CD was produced in tandem with the DVD documentary, which was filmed on location across Australia and Europe. Guest artists on the album include Teddy Tahu Rhodes (baritone), James Crabb (bandoneon) and Tamara Anna Cislowska (piano).
