When Australian composer Malcolm Williamson died in March this year, we lost one of the finest composers Australia has produced.

Williamson was the first non-British composer to be appointed Master of the Queen's Music.

This 3-CD set is the first complete recording of Williamson's piano music. Australian pianist Antony Gray gives a stunning performance of these highly accessible and inventive works. Indeed, the composer himself said of Gray's playing '… [he] belongs to that small group of internationally distinguished pianists who blend depth of understanding with technical mastery'.
