As John Shand says in his notes to this release: "there is such generosity of spirit on offer that it's impossible not to be affected by it." This music is infectious.

Australian saxophonist Andrew Robson has an impressive pedigree - funk with Jackie Orszaczky and the Grandmasters, the music of Eastern Europe with Mara!, the wonderfully eclectic Umbrellas, and jazz combos such as The World According to James (with James Greening - trombone) and the Bronson/Evans/Robson Quintet which he co-led with fellow saxophonists Sandy Evans and Edouard Bronson.

This group comprises the two members of the Andrew Robson Trio, Steve Elphick and Hamish Stuart, with guest artist Alister Spence - all top-shelf jazz musicians and familiar faces on the Australian jazz scene.

Follow them through a world of changing moods and atmospheres coaxed by the lyrical, exhilarating sounds of Andrew Robson's saxophone.
