Local World is the first release from the completely reworked and greatly improved ABC Jazz label.

All tracks on Local World are written and arranged by Australian electric bass-supremo, Steve Hunter, whose band consists of some of Australia’s finest jazz musicians.

One of the strongest tracks on the album is Pray (In Your Own Way featuring the incredible, scorching vocals of Tina Harrod. She takes hold of the words, massaging them, wringing meaning from them.
