This is a collection of works for fortepiano, violin and cello by Haydn, unusual in that it includes two of his symphonies, the Miracle and Surprise, arranged for piano trio by Haydn's friend, the violinist and concert impresario, Johann Peter Salomon as well as the 'Oxford' arranged for fortepiano and violin by Jan Ladislav Dussek.

This two-disc set contains a previously released disc as well as a brand new recording which is sure to be just as well received as the first.
