Slava Grigoryan's debut album on ABC Classics, and the first album in over three years of Australia's most widely renowned classical guitarist since John Williams.

Slava returns to his guitar roots in a program of purely classical guitar music, a place he has long wanted to return to. It includes music by composer/guitarists such as Fernando Sor as well as arrangements and variations based on much loved works by composers the likes of Mozart, Handel and Paganini.

Younger brother, Leonard, makes his recording debut by joining Slava in playing the famous duet by Fernando Sor, L'Encouragement, and Slava plays from the score of Paganini's Caprice in A Minor, Op. 1 No. 24, literally arranging the violin part for guitar as he plays.
