The title Powerhouse will be familiar to those who admire the music of Carl Stalling, composer for the great Warner Brothers cartoons of the 1940s and 50s. While this composition makes no direct reference to the original piece, it aims to reflect the energy, theatricality and rapid changes of mood which characterise it. Included also are "Three Poems of Byron", "Capriccio", "Nocturne 1", "Nocturne 2" and "Unchained Melody".
